The Rapidos® alpha track detector has the convenience of a short-term radon test with the benefits of a long-term test. Both accurate and flexible, it is one of the most effective ways to measure radon in workplaces and schools.

Greater air volume doubles the detection speed to provide an improved statistic for short-term measurement. The detector employs the alpha track technique for measurement. The device is composed of film elements inside an anti-static plastic housing. Radon enters by diffusion.
Detector analysis performed using a state-of-the-art image scanner at C-NRPP-accredited Radonova laboratory. Exposure results available in 7-10 business days, expressed in Bq/m3. Please deploy the Rapidos before the expiry date on the plastic wrap.

What do I do when I receive the detector, what is the process?
The Radtrak and Rapidos Alpha Track detectors will arrive with their own unique instruction sheet, and return envelope. Each detector should be registered individually with the Login Credentials provided on the instruction sheet.
When you are ready to start testing, remove the detector from the plastic wrap and place it where you want to test. Follow the instructions to register your detector with radonline.com. Note: the detector will stay in this location for the entire testing period.
When you have finished testing, log back in to radonline.com and update your testing information.
Mail your detector to the lab. (Don’t forget to track your package)
When ready, your report will be available for download using your login at radonline.com. You will also receive a copy of your report to your email address.
